The third name is someone who is still around. They are very famous and won an Oscar for one of the films.

John Gielgud was the third (Chariots of Fire and Gandhi), just need the fourth. He's had two nominations and one win. His last nominations was in the 2000s.

Also I figured out the fourth name but it was only through poring over the IMDB list of winners and thinking really hard. His role in the film which did NOT win him the Oscar is VERY VERY VERY VERY small, but unforgettable! Haha! Great question!

Now, I'll give you the fact that Charleson and Pena were in back-to-back, but that is one of those things that are minute. I forgot to mention Gielgud and I included Christopher Walken just because he's actually listed on the Annie Hall poster credits.

I'm taking a blind stab at this for kicks. I haven't read any of the other comments either:

1. "Shakespeare in Love" ?? I know it won a bunch and that Spielberg took Director home that year for "Saving Private Ryan."

2. Clint Eastwood - 2 for M$B, 2 for Mystic River, and I think someone for Unforgiven?

3. Too hard! *itches brain* (1) Russell Crowe in "Gladiator" and "A Beautiful Mind" (2) Meryl Streep with "The Deer Hunter" and "Kramer vs. Kramer"... And that's where my knowledge ends.

4. I'm certain of only Peter Finch winning posthumously for "Network," but I remember reading in one of my Oscar books about someone involved with "Gone with the Wind" winning the first posthumous Oscar. Maybe the cinematographer?

5. I immediately thought of Kevin Costner for "Dances with Wolves" and Mel Gibson for "Braveheart." But I don't think either of them actually won. Maybe Laurence Olivier for something (didn't he win for "Hamlet")? Can't think of a second.

6. I'm *pretty* sure that'd be Warren Beatty who won Supporting for "Shampoo" and separately won Director for "Reds."

7. Drawing a blank here. Thinking maybe Todd Field or Sam Mendes? But no, they don't fit. Steven Soderbergh maybe? How long was it between "Sex, Lies, and Videotape" and his "Erin Brokovich"/"Traffic" double nom? I give up.

8. I immediately thought "M*A*S*H" and then realized that was the other away around (movie made into most successful show of all time). Lulz. I'll have to go with "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle."

9. Faye Dunaway for "Mommie Dearest?" I'm not sure if she got an Oscar nom, but I know she eventually won worst actress of the decade or something at the Razzies for that performance.

10. That'd be Stevie Soderbergh: Julia Roberts in "Erin Brokovich" and Benicio Del Toro in "Traffic." Nuff said.
